Schedule

Rules

Seasons

  • Each season consist of 5 cups
  • Every team that signs up for the cups will be automatically registered on our leaderboard and their stats will be updated on our website (https://6gcups.org/leaderboard/)
  • The leaderboard ranks teams based by their overall Points
  • Rewards will be given to the teams on top of the leaderboard at the end of each season

Scores

  • Every team gets +5 points for participating in each cup (if they fail to check-in on time or don't show for their first match, they won't get +5 points)
  • Group Stage points:
  1. Match wins worth +3 points
  2. Match ties worth +1 points
  • Play-off Stage points:
  1. Upper bracket match wins worth +10 points
  2. Lower bracket match wins worth +5 points
  • Grand Final points:
  1. Match wins worth +15 points
  • Teams that don't show up for their matches will get -5 points / matches (This means teams that are usually not showing up for their matches could have less than 0 points on the leaderboard)

General

  • This cup is available only for teams from Europe
  • Teams that don't have a server and neither their opponent, they must create a server to play on at https://www.freegamehosting.eu
  • All teams must take screenshots of each map's final score. After the game both teams must show the Cup Admin their screenshots. If one team can not show their screenshot, their opponent's screenshot will be considered as confirmation of the final score.
  • If a team is not contactable 10 minutes after the scheduled start time (assuming there are no delays), the opposing team can contact an admin to be awarded a walk over win. Teams that don't show up without contacting an admin before the scheduled start time will be subject to punishments, including but not limited to temporary suspensions, and bans.
  • Teams are expected to play all their scheduled games. If certain circumstances makes it impossible for a team to continue, contact an admin. Teams that chose not to play their games without contacting an admin, will be subject to punishments, including but not limited to temporary suspensions, and bans.

Date / Time

  • Check in starts: 2018.06.18. 16:30 CEST
  • Check in closes: 2018.06.18. 18:30 CEST (In case of failing to check in on time, the team can't compete in the cup and will be replaced with a team on the waiting list)
  • Group matches start: 2018.06.18. 19:00 CEST 

    Communication

  • All teams must have 1 representative online on our discord server until their team falls out from the cup  so we can easily get in touch with all teams (https://discord.gg/dtnaahk)
  • Before each match representatives must get in touch  with the opponent team's representative to discuss details of their match
  • Cup Admin will tell both teams if their match is going to be streamed

    Format

    • Team size: 5 players
    • Knife for side
    • Group stage: BO1
    • Final stage: BO1
    • Final match: BO3

    Map pool

    • Coastal
    • Derailed
    • Invasion
    • Liberation
    • Manorhouse V2
    • Maps for group matches will be decided by shuffle (you will be informed about maps on our discord server)


    Veto system

    • Final stage matches' maps are decided by veto
    • The upper team shown on the bracket may start the veto
    • After the map has been decided, teams must decide the starting side by knife round - see the "Knife round rules" for details
    • Grand Final BO3 matches: Upper Bracket Team bans first, Lower Bracket Team bans second, Upper Bracket Team chooses map and Lower Brakcet Team chooses side. Then Lower Bracket Team chooses map and Upper Bracket team chooses side, last map's side will be decided by a regular knife round.

    Knife round rules

    • When you are to start a knife round, stand in your teams, a reasonable length away from the other team (either spawns, both ends of mid, either end of a site, etc.)
    • After that, decide on a timestamp from where you start the kniferound
    • Winner of the knife round will decide which side they want to start at

    Boosting / Bugs

    • ALLOWED: Jumping on someone’s head to gain vision
    • ALLOWED: Jumping on someone’s head to reach an area that you can also reach by yourself
    • NOT ALLOWED: Jumping on someone’s head to reach an area that you cannot get to by yourself
    • NOT ALLOWED: Buggy smoke on Coastal at A house stairs
    • If a team uses not allowed boostings/bugs, opponent team instantly wins the round

    Penalties / Disqualification

    • If any player of a team gets caught on cheating - the whole team gets banned from our cups for 1 year
    • If a team is not contactable 10 minutes after the scheduled start time (assuming there are no delays), the opposing team can contact an admin to be awarded a walk over win.     Technical issues

    • If the server crashes, teams must wait for the server to restart and then resume playing from the score when the game has crashed (if a crash occurs in the middle of a round, that round must be restarted)
    • If server is restarted because of a crash, we can't do anything about cards and grenades so teams will have all the weapon cards and grenades back again
    • Each team has 1 allowed pause / side. They may use it only for solving technical issues or tactics. A pause can't be longer than 2 minutes. (If someone crashes, the game must be paused and players must wait until the crashed player gets back. If the crashed player was alive when crash occurred, the round must be played again. This kind of pause is free, but opponent team may ask for a screenshot of the crash error notification)
